Operations

• The Cascade Handbooks on the portal must be followed. FDD pg 22; CFDFA pg 12
• Access to portal and franchise documents must be restricted. FDD pg 22
• All employees, including owners, must follow prescribed training programs for each position. FDD pg 26-27; CFDFA pg 11
• All handbooks, materials, portals, documents, marketing materials, operations, processes, etc. are trade secrets and proprietary information that may not be shared in an unauthorized manner. If you know of any such breach, it must be disclosed immediately. FDD pg 34-36; CFDFA pg 12-14, 23
• We can offer guidance, and consultation, based off of periodic inspection. CFDFA pg 11, 30-31
• Offices must maintain enough personnel, and can’t hire corporate's staff. CFDFA pg 20; OA pg7
• Employees must use our patient and portal websites. CFDFA pg26-27
• Large equipment/capital purchases will be divided by percentage of ownership, not percentage of collections. OA pg 11
• Partners are expected to work 32 hours per week seeing patients and 2+ hrs a week in shared administrative work.
• Partners have voting rights according to their proportion of ownership. OA pg5
• Partners are to split administrative duties and periodically rotate them among partners.
• Partners are paid after first paying all outstanding bills. Cash remaining in the bank account at the end of the month is divided by the proportionate % of each partner’s collections that month. The partners loans will be paid by the practice out of their respective distributions to protect the assets of the partnership. OA pg 9-10
• All partners work an expanded schedule. OA pg7
• Partners each have access to patients and doctor operatories in proportion to their percentage of ownership. OA pg7
• Trade work is not allowed. OA pg8
• Doctors only remain voting member of Board if they are an owner, finished all training requirements, and current on CE and Service minimums.
