Same Day Treatment

• “You have this tooth or teeth that need a crown, a root canal, a bridge, a filling, an extraction etc..."It is only getting worse. Unfortunately teeth don’t heal themselves.”
• “What we are trying to prevent is... root canal, crown, pain, infection, periodontal disease, tooth loss etc. (Doctors and staff should be using this line a lot! They need to know what will happen if they delay treatment)
• “Since you are already here we might be able to squeeze you in and get this done today. You may have to wait for a little while because we have scheduled patients but this way you won’t have to come back or miss work again. I will check with the doctor and our schedule and see if we can squeeze you in today.”
• Sometimes there is an opening later in the day. For example: we can squeeze you in at 2, why don’t you go to lunch and come back then?
